Camp Daniel Boone

In 2006, Scouts from fifty-one different councils (one of every six in America) attended Camp Daniel Boone. Troops came from Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Maryland, Washington DC, Mississippi, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia and North Carolina. They came for our world-class high-adventure treks and a rock-solid base-camp program, as well as our cool summertime temperatures in a beautiful setting. Sitting at 3,200 feet at the base of Cold Mountain, Camp Daniel Boone is nestled against the Shining Rock Wilderness Area.

Plan now to bring your troop to the North Carolina mountains and experience the jamboree-like atmosphere of Camp Daniel Boone--where older scouts come to play and young scouts come to learn.
